Belgium Rout USA 4-1 as De Ketelaere Scores Twice in Dallas
Charles De Ketelaere struck twice and Hans Vanaken and Romelu Lukaku also scored as Belgium beat the host nation 4-1 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas to reach the quarter-finals.
B elgium defeated the USA 4-1 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas on 6 July, reaching the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup with a commanding display in front of 66,925 supporters.
Charles De Ketelaere opened the scoring on 9 minutes. Malik Tillman equalised for the USA on 31 minutes before De Ketelaere restored Belgium's lead two minutes later. Hans Vanaken made it 3-1 on 57 minutes. Romelu Lukaku, introduced at 67 minutes as a substitute for De Ketelaere, added a fourth in the 90th minute to complete the rout.
Belgium advance to the quarter-finals and will face Spain at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on 10 July.
