S enegal signed off from Group I with a convincing 5-0 win over Iraq at BMO Field in Toronto on June 26, though the result had no bearing on the group standings with both sides already eliminated.

Habib Diarra gave Senegal the lead in the fourth minute and the West Africans controlled the match throughout. Ismaila Sarr added a second in the 56th minute before Pape Gueye struck twice in quick succession, in the 59th and 71st minutes, to complete the rout. Iliman Ndiaye rounded things off with a fifth in the 82nd minute.

Iraq could find no way back into the match and finished the group stage with zero points. Senegal collected three points from their final game to finish third in Group I.

Both teams exit the tournament, with France and Norway advancing from Group I.
